ABOUT
 
     Kumi was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
While she was working as a flight attendant in Japan, she traveled all over the world and experienced  various beautiful cultures, people and art which developed her creative eye and sense of beauty.
     In the Bay Area, where she started the next stage of her life, her passion for beauty and art led her to study art in college. While earning a degree in Commercial Art, she learned design, color theory, drawing and muscle/bone anatomy without knowing that those studies would help her later career as a tattoo artist.
     After spending years focusing on being a mom to two kids, life changing incidents happened to her and motivated her to become a cosmetic tattoo artist. Now she is passionate about helping people appreciate their own beauty, especially those who may have lost their breast(s) or hair from breast cancer / chemo therapy... like she herself experienced.
